National Egg Day Omelette Week! Eggs Benedict

Hello, everyone!  Welcome back to Omelette Week! Today we are combining two of the most famous egg dishes, the omelette and the Eggs Benedict.  With the creaminess of the hollandaise, saltiness of the ham, and crunchiness of the English muffin, no wonder it is loved all over the world, with people making it their own.  Today I am going to make it my own, so let's start!

Ingredients!

  • Standard Omelette Recipe (found here!)
  • English Muffin
  • Slice of Ham
  • Mock Hollandaise (found here!)

Directions!

Fry ham in pan. Chop and set aside. Chop English muffin and toast in pan with ham grease.

Make Mock Hollandaise.  Set on lowest heat setting, stirring occasionally.

Mix eggs, salt, and pepper.  Cook until egg whites are jiggly.

Add ham, English muffin, and Mock Hollandaise. Steam until egg whites are no longer jiggly.😁

Fold, top with remaining Mock Hollandaise, and enjoy!πŸ˜‹πŸ˜›

If you want this omelette to be voted the best, comment, share, or view more than the others!  There will be more omelette recipes this week, and the most eggs-travagant omelette will be announced on June 3, National Egg Day!πŸ₯šπŸžπŸ–πŸ³
